This is to notify all contractors that will be working at 3M Decatur and/or Daikin America that effective April 1, 2012 it is required that all new contractor employees have an E-Verify code on their badge.

It is required that TVTC verifies this has been completed:

  • If your company has signed up with E-Verify to run all new employees through the database, there will be no upfront charge for you.
    • We must have a email on your company letterhead that includes your E-Verify Customer Id number sent to backgrounds@tvtc.org
    • This will be printed under your company name on each badge.
  • If your company does not have an E-Verify account, TVTC can E-Verify your employees for a very small fee.
    • Please contact Shayne Hill at Shayne@tvtc.org for information on how we can E-Verify your employees.
  • E-Verify does not transfer from one company to the next (like all the other training) due to this being a employer requirement. When an employee leaves one company and goes to another they must come by TVTC and get another badge with their current employer listed on it.
    • There will be $10.00 badge transfer fee for this process. This change will keep employers training databases current as well as help with Plant Owners verifying current training. Please contact TVTC for full details and requirements for compliance with additional requirements.

Effective Immediately: All verification codes (such as DRG99) will have a $5.00 charge for non-members (only).
