Rescue is a vital component of this course.*** \nCourse Topics:\nPerform entry and exit from confined spaces\nRole of entrant\, attendant and supervisors\nPermit required\nUsing tripods and fall protection\nAtmosphere testing\nRescue \n*An annual refresher is recommended.\n**Training shall be provided to each affected employee before first assigned duties\, before there is a change in assigned duties\, whenever there is a change in permit space operations that presents a hazard about which an employee has not been trained\, or whenever the employer has reason to believe either that there are deviations from the permit space entry procedures or that there are inadequacies in the employee’s knowledge\, per OSHA 29 CFR1910.146.
